Ministry Update

The time has flown by and the campus is preparing for another wave of new students. The way things are looking right now the dorms will be pretty packed out. The rough stats for the schools are:

Discipleship Training School (DTS) 36 students. Nearly double the students the January school had last year. An answer to prayers for sure as we are always that more students would come and be changed and challenged every year.

School of Evangelism (SOE) Roughly 20-24 students are planning to return for the second half of their training.

Also we will be running a Cross Roads DTS which is geared for Adults. This school has 13 students planning to attend.

All in all we have nearly 70 new and returning students. Please be in prayer for them. Pray that by the time they leave this campus they will be ruined for the ordinary and that they will crave Jesus every minute of every day.

The schools that just finished have just set out on the outreach portion of their training and are headed off to South Korea, Thailand, and an outreach focused on reaching our East Coast.

Thank you again
for every thing that you do that makes this all possible.

Christmas Memories

Here are some photo memories of the time I spent in the Outer Banks over Christmas this year.

On the way out we stopped and said "Hello" to Pedro.

And tried on some highly fashionable eye wear

The water was so beautiful

So you can bet I took the first opportunity available to go out on it

Jack treated me like a queen bundled me up and took us out for a sun set cruise

The rest of the week was spent enjoying friends, family, and of course Christmas cookies.

Love you all

Thank you

Thank you all so much for your Christmas prayers and giving.
I don't really have a whole lot to say, but I do want you all to know that I'm so blessed to have such a generous and loving family of Christ surrounding me even when I am far from home.

This Christmas I will be going to North Carolina and spending time with Jack's family. There will be three of us driving over Jack, myself and one of our friends who works with us here and is from the same area.  We are hoping leave today right after work around 5pm and I'm counting down the hours until we load into the car and set out on the road. It's roughly a 20 hour drive so that is something you can be praying about (safe travel, alertness, and good times just being together)

I'll try to take pictures and post them on here once I get back so that you can celebrate a little bit of Christmas with me in NC.

Love and miss you all
Thinking of you fondly

Winter has struck.

Well, I don't have anything profound to say today. I just felt like complaining to every one who has an ear to hear. The heat in my office is broken.... again.... and it's the coldest day of the year  thus far in Texas. I think it is 30 something. I wonder what kinds of looks I would get if showed up after lunch with my comforter and slippers? I'm pretty tempted.

December!!!

My apologies for my delinquency in keeping y'all updated. I can't believe I left you hanging there for almost a month.

Where to start?

Well, I spent one wonderful and far to short week at home for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I got in on Sunday and left the following Sunday so I didn't get to see many of you. Just know I miss you all very much and think of you often.

A good portion of my time was spent hunting for and then preparing my new car for the return trip to Texas. She is a pretty little car, a 1998 Honda Accord. Did you know that car can hold the most people of any other car? Yup, it can.. Says so in the Bible on the day of Pentecost there were over 100 believers all in one Accord.... Ha, ok that was pretty lame.
That's what I get for working in an office with a lot of the founding people of our ministry campus. As I have discovered there is a Bible joke for EVERYTHING!

What a blessing it has been for me though, to work in such close proximity to the original founders of our ministry. Besides lots of cheesy jokes I feel I've also inherited a lot of they're blessing and vision. Not that I'm suddenly a master leader, but I think where I'm at is a good place to start. To become a leader, start by serving a leader. I find myself more and more jealous of the disciples, what an awesome thing to have been able to serve for three years the greatest leader of all time!

Hope you have a great first day of December.

Lots of love

Bree
